About The Noodle Shop

The Noodle Shop is a chinese restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina. It is listed at 3 SW Pack Sq, Asheville, NC 28801, which places it among the local businesses of Asheville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 am–2:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach The Noodle Shop at (828) 250-9898; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 820 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Asheville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is pretty good. I didn’t get noodles, but the chicken was delicious and since my spring rolls were late, they only charged me half which was incredibly kind. However, the server was pretty condescending and the actual outdoor seating is great, But the indoor seating is a little grimy, and the portions of food are not that much, however, they totally match the affordable price

I rarely post reviews, but we stopped here on a whim and were beyond impressed. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming atmosphere. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped everyone choose something to suit their taste. We ordered a variety of noodle dishes, and they were all excellent. Great food and spectacular value for the money.

Such. Good. Food. Simple and comforting food. It is good for the soul. Service is prompt. The food is so very good. I especially like their spring noodles. I love that they offer fried or steamed spring rolls...the sesame balls are exceptional!

This is such a cute spot! My boyfriend and I wanted something warm to eat since it was cold and snowy during our Asheville visit. We got wonton noodle soup, shrimp pad thai, spring rolls, and sour carrot salad. I absolutely loved the sour carrot salad!! The shrimp pad thai wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, but still good. The staff/server was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

We have been eating here for many, many years and used to go quite often when we were vegan. We ordered the spring noodle and the Dan Dan (named something else now) and they were always perfect! The spring rolls are some of my favorite I've ever had. I also really like the carrot and potato appetizers. We recently went again for our first time as non-vegans. My husband ordered what he always gets (Dan Dan...can't remember the new name) and it was great. I got a daily special that came with chicken. I should have gone with a noodle bowl. The chicken was not great. It was cooked fine but tasted like cheap meat. The dumplings were good and the iced Vietnamese tea was amazing. Next time I'll stick with their vegetarian options because I feel like that's where they shine.
